Description:
The user positions themselves in front of a mirror so that the affected or amputated hand or foot is covered and only the healthy hand or foot is visible in the mirror image. The healthy body part is then exposed to various tactile stimuli. After a while, the brain interprets these stimuli as coming from the affected or amputated body part.
Thanks to its size and shape, the device allows the user to view the entire range of motion – from the table surface to shoulder height – in the mirror, both in horizontal and vertical planes of motion.
