    Description:

    Tactile orientation aids make it easier for blind and visually impaired people to find their way in traffic. Panels with a grooved or trapezoidal structure are used as guidance, boundary or attention fields, e.g. at bus stops, level crossings or when changing levels, as well as in public buildings.

    The tactile fields must stand out clearly from the floor covering and be tactile with a long cane or feet. Accompanying strips with a smooth, high-contrast surface help to distinguish the guidance system from the surrounding flooring. The grooved panels made of concrete are also easy to see for visually impaired people thanks to their color and luminance contrasts.
