Urine bag with drainage opening

Urine bags with a drainage opening are connected to a catheter or urinal condom and collect the drained urine. Backflow valves prevent the urine from flowing from the bag back into the urinary tract.

The capacity can vary between 500 and 1300 ml. The bags can be emptied via a drain valve without having to be separated from the urine pipes. There are special urine leg bags, which also have an angled shape with a kink-free inlet and adapt to the sitting position. Bedside or night bags have a significantly higher capacity than other urine bags (up to 2000 ml).
