This product is an anti-decubitus positioning cushion for decubitus prophylaxis and therapy. The product consists of two layers, the substructure of the seat cushion consists of a polyurethane base. Above this is a flexible layer consisting of a liquid gel (so-called engineered fluid). The foam base of the cushion is anatomically shaped and there is a very thick layer of liquid gel, especially in the area of the ischial tuberosities. The entire cushion is enclosed in an incontinence cover. A microclimatic seat cover is available as an option.
This is made of polyurethane and is removable.
The underside of the cover has a non-slip coating. The cushion can be attached to the wheelchair with Velcro, for example.
