The foam overlay is placed on an existing mattress. It is used for patients with temporary immobility or patients who are bedridden for a short time. The material is machine washable at 80 to 90 degrees C and temperature resistant up to 170 degrees C for a short time. It can be spun and tumble dried.
The overlays are available in one-piece or three-piece versions.
