Below the viscoelastic foam, a 10 cm wide zone border is incorporated on both sides. This zone edge enables a more stable position for the patient (e.g. when repositioning), and it supports a safer getting out of and in the bed. It promotes mobilization and supports kinesthetic measures.

The Viscorelax-Sure mattress can be used for therapy up to decubitus grade 3 and especially for pain therapy up to VAS 4.

The standard PU / incontinence cover is impermeable to fluids, breathable, and stretchable and tear-resistant.

The cover can be removed from the foam core for processing. It is washable up to 95 C and tumble-proof. The foam core is autoclavable up to 110 C. Any commercially available disinfectant can be used for wipe disinfection.
