Description:
The viscoelastic foam changes its hardness when exposed to temperature.
The warmer the ambient temperature, the softer the material becomes. the patient sinks into the mattress, so that low pressure values are achieved. Because the mattress can be used on both sides, the patient can be transferred to the elatex layer once the condition of the wound has improved.
