The mattress consists of foam cubes in two different hardnesses and three different cube heights. With a base area of 8 x 8 cm, the cubes are slightly smaller than the previously offered cube mattresses, so that the pressure distribution can be even more finely tuned. The cubes can be exchanged as required or removed completely in particularly vulnerable areas of the body. Every aks-varioplus mattress is supplied with a Proderm stretch cover. This cover is waterproof, washable and disinfectable, urine-resistant and breathable. The mattress is a one-piece mattress.
