Description

The mattress is designed to support patients weighing up to 250 kg and provides the best possible pressure relief for all resident/patient types and all stages of tissue damage.
A sensor pad under the overall length of the mattress works with an automatic unit to constantly adapt the cell pressure, keeping the interface pressure below 10 mmHg for up to 40 percent of the operating cycle.
Five heel cells allow the caregiver to completely release the interface pressure in this particularly vulnerable area. This means that these cells remain unpressurized for very vulnerable patients, e.g. those with limb ischemia or existing wounds.
The mattress design, with a cell height of 200 mm when inflated, also includes a special torso area for supine or sitting patients/residents to prevent sinking.
