Kubivent mattresses consist of foam cubes that are inserted into a flexible net. The net constricts the individual upholstered elements to allow air to pass through. Individual cubes can also be removed or pressed together so that a hole or depression provides additional pressure relief in particularly vulnerable areas of the body.
