Pedography measuring systems are electronic measuring platforms for recording and assessing the pressure distribution under the foot under static and dynamic conditions. They work with calibrated, capacitive sensors and are certified in accordance with the Medical Devices Act.
The measuring platforms measure foot pressure and body weight. The data acquisition starts automatically as soon as the subjects foot touches the platform.
The system is used in research institutions, university clinics and specialized centers to measure the plantar pressure distribution, especially in diabetics to prevent pressure ulcers or to improve posture (information provided by the provider).

The platform is connected directly to the laptop or PC connected to a USB interface.
The software controls the platform, collects and displays the plantar pressure data. The emed recorder software measures the dynamic pressure distribution, which simultaneously controls the video recording of up to four cameras. No additional video software is required. The software for analyzing the foot function can be started from the novel database.

The platforms are available in different sizes and with different sensor resolutions and measuring frequencies.
