Assistive Product emed Druckverteilungs-Messsystem

Product Type:

Pressure distribution measuring system for the feet

Description:

Pedography measuring systems are electronic measuring platforms for recording and assessing the pressure distribution under the foot under static and dynamic conditions. They work with calibrated, capacitive sensors and are certified in accordance with the Medical Devices Act.
The measuring platforms measure foot pressure and body weight. Data acquisition is started automatically as soon as the subject's foot touches the platform.
The system is used in research institutions, university clinics and specialized centres to measure plantar pressure distribution, especially in diabetics to prevent pressure sores or to improve posture (information from the provider).

The platform is connected directly to a laptop or PC via a USB interface.
The software controls the platform collects and displays the plantar pressure data. The emed Recorder software measures the dynamic pressure distribution and simultaneously controls the video recording of up to four cameras. No additional video software is required. The software for analyzing the foot function can be started from the novel database.

The platforms are available in different sizes and with different sensor resolutions and measurement frequencies.
