The AI-controlled, friendly social robot is designed to encourage older people and others in need of help, provide support in everyday life and contribute to mental well-being and independent living through empathy.
The robot is designed to recognize the needs of the other person based on facial expressions and speech style and respond in a tailored manner.
Buddy was originally developed for autistic children.

Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft mbH is currently developing new software in the core competence area of human motion analytics.
