The books from Kindergebärden Verlag are picture books with sign language pictures. The special feature of the books: The little main character Otto can sign. The picture books should appeal to all children, whether with or without disabilities.

The name Kindergebärden makes it clear that these are books with gestures. On the other hand, it refers to the play on words "Kinder gebärden". The aim: children sign when they look at Otto's adventures. And are thus given the opportunity to communicate what they see - for things whose words they cannot yet pronounce.
