The communication device works according to a new system: five buttons are provided on the device, which can be assigned with symbol cards as desired. Each card is coded for a word or a phrase. For example, if the user places the card with the symbol for "tired" on the symbol field and then presses it, the device speaks the statement - no matter which of the five fields the user places the card on. If the user wants to delete or change the message of a card, this is possible with the enclosed tool cards. These control e.g. the functions delete, record, quiet and loud.

Independent of therapy and training situations, the ProxTalker can be used to communicate or tell something.
The ProxTalker is delivered including a set of cards with core vocabulary according to Sachse/Boenisch. Included are 120 ready-printed MetaCom symbol cards discussed in a girl's voice. It is also possible to replace the original voice recordings with your own recordings.
