The phasicom is marketed as a private label by epitech GmbH. The device is light, compact and intuitive to use. The content of the phasicom consists of extensive and well-structured symbol-based page sets. The pre-installed page sets can be individually changed and adapted by the customer. By tapping on an icon, a word or sentence is spoken by a synthesized voice.
The version for severe aphasia has only a few subcategories; a much more complex version is offered for mild aphasia. This means that the customer is not overwhelmed in terms of operation and can express themselves according to their needs.
The phasicom can be held, laid down or set up. It can also be attached to a wheelchair using a wheelchair holder, making it a helpful everyday companion. Its robust, splash-proof shell makes it suitable for everyday use in private or therapeutic settings.
