FlashWords AAC is an accompanying computer program for the early reading method - a method used among other things in children with a delayed language development (e.g. Down syndrome) is used and is described in the book Early Reading from the Early Support Program Small Steps (Macquarie Program). The target group of the method are children with a disability, which also affects language development. The visualization of words by writing serves to compensate for weaknesses, especially in the auditory area.
