Description:
Iontophoresis treatment with idromed 5 GS and idromed 5 PS is carried out using simple hand and foot baths in tap water. Tubs are used for this purpose, through which weak direct current or pulsed current is passed via electrodes. The intensity of the current is increased until the patient feels a slight tingling sensation. The weak current slows down the secretion of sweat glands without damaging the glands.
