The Siss BabyControl plus monitor monitors the respiratory function of infants and toddlers and is an assistive products against Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
With the external signal generator, monitoring can also take place from the adjacent room. Regular breathing is indicated by a light-emitting diode; a possible alarm is triggered visually and additionally acoustically. The breathing rate is monitored via a body sensor. The Siss BabyControl plus monitor can distinguish prolonged pauses in breathing from a regular breathing rhythm and alerts when a critical value is reached for individually adjustable parameters. The memory function stores all events to the second. The memory function is always activated and records the events On, Off, Reset, alarms of all kinds, breathing rate before and after each alarm. The values can then be read out on a PC.
