Epileptic seizure detection system

Description:

The NightWatch+ system is used to detect severe epileptic seizures during sleep. It consists of a sensor worn on the upper arm that registers heart rate and movements. In the event of abnormalities, a wireless signal is sent to a base station to alert a carer.
The system can be connected to nurse call systems or to the Internet. Recorded data can be viewed via an online portal and used to document the frequency of seizures. Symbols on the alarm station and a quick guide help to clearly assign the alarm signals.
