Indications:
- Rapid decongestion in acute edema of the upper and lower extremities (eg post-traumatic and postoperative)
- Rapid decongestion in chronic vascular edema of the arms and legs (eg CVI - chronic - venous insufficiency, therapy support in chronic lymphoedema)
- compartment prophylaxis in severe soft tissue damage
- prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis
- Differentiated ulcera cruris (venous, arterial, mixed)
- Diabetic foot syndrome (even with ulceration)
- Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and arterial circulatory disorders of the extremities (also in revascularizable situations)

Description:
VADOplex is a device with intermittent pneumatic pulse compression (IPK) to improve blood flow, especially in the micro / macro circulation of the lower and upper extremities.
VADOplex belongs to the group of IPK devices, but with the special feature of intermittent pulse compression (IIK / English. IIC)
This means that the pressure pulse (built up within 0.4 seconds) is delivered at regular intervals to the venous plexus of the sole of the foot or the venous plexus of the hand.
In addition to increased blood flow back in the veins, VADOplex unleashes activation of NO production (unlike slower pulse building devices) (nitric oxide production at the endothelium of the vein, releasing NO (nitric oxide)).
NO has a relaxing effect on the vascular musculature and improves blood flow, especially in the adjacent arterial vessels.
VX offers IIK, one of the most effective and gentle methods for improving micro and macro circulation.

VADOplex may only be used with the appropriate cuffs (pads). These are available for hand and / or foot. The foot pads are available in two sizes each for left and right and can be ordered individually, in pairs or as a box with 5 pairs. VADOplex footpads are also available for use under the VACOped to treat foot and ankle injuries. The handpads are available in universal size for left or right.
The pads are one-patient products and must not be used or reprocessed for multiple patients.
