Contraindications:

  • severe heart failure
  • acute existing thrombosis or pulmonary embolism
  • acute phlebitis (inflammation of the veins)
  • severe infections in the treated extremity
In the event of sensory disturbances in the treated extremity, close monitoring of the skin areas that come into contact with the pressure chamber of the cuff is required. The same applies to existing diabetes mellitus with sensory disturbances (polyneuropathy).

Description:

The system imitates the natural process of walking while the patient is lying or sitting. The venous plexus is squeezed out by a compression impulse and the blood flows upwards towards the heart.
