ReMoD V5 is a medical device that helps people with neurological postural and gait problems improve postural and movement control while wearing it.
The vest replaces disturbed or absent endogenous signals with artificial signals perceived through the skin. When the vest registers a deviation from a set ideal posture, it sends the person real-time electrotactile signals on the surface of the skin. This enables them to detect posture and movement errors. This information is both a prerequisite and the basis of any independent movement correction.
ReMoD V5 can be used during walking, sitting and standing.

The vest is available from medical supply stores and can be financed by health insurance.
