Assistive Product mediven ulcer kit, Kniestrumpf

Product Type:

Therapy stocking

Areas of Application:

  • venous leg ulcers
  • in the acute phase of ulcer therapy

Features / Components:

The special feature of this stocking is the elemental silver firmly attached to the thread. Silver is a classic in wound care, as it has a long-lasting effect against a broad spectrum of bacteria, even in small concentrations. It prevents the development of odors and prevents the formation of bacterial resistance. This means that the sock has a lasting antibacterial and antifungal effect, even with antibiotic-resistant germs.

The ulcer kit consists of two compressive components:
1 pair of mediven ulcer with a restraint pressure of 20 mmHg designed for continuous compression around the clock. This moderate resting pressure is well tolerated by the patient and enables continuity of compression treatment.

1 piece of mediven ulcer plus, also with a pressure of 20 mmHg
supports and increases compression during the day or during phases of movement. This ensures the medically required compression pressure of 40 mmHg and a high working pressure, especially in the acute phase of ulcer therapy.

When cleaning a stocking bandage, if possible at 95 degrees, a second mediven ulcer is always available for continuous compression treatment.
