Features / Components:
The special feature of this sock is the elemental silver firmly bonded to the thread. Silver is a classic in wound care, because even in small concentrations it has a long-lasting effect against a wide range of bacteria. It prevents the development of odors and excludes the formation of germ resistance. Thus, the sock has a long-lasting antibacterial and antifungal effect even in the presence of antibiotic-resistant germs.
The ulcer kit consists of two compressive components:
1 pair of mediven ulcer with a restraint pressure of 20 mmHg designed for permanent compression around the clock. This moderate resting pressure is well tolerated by the patient and allows continuity of compression treatment.
1 piece of mediven ulcer plus with a restraint pressure of also 20 mmHg
supports and reinforces the compression during the day or during movement phases. This ensures the medically required compression pressure of 40 mmHg as well as a high working pressure, especially in the acute phase of ulcer therapy.
When cleaning a stocking bandage, if possible at 95 degrees, a second mediven ulcer is always ready for continuous compression care.
