Whether use of a newly developed firmly fitting knitted form-contoured elastic bandage has advantages with regard to wrist and forearm symptoms compared to the previous treatment measures comprising a thick layer of anti-inflammatory ointment covered by supporting compression bandages (elastic) was checked in a randomized parallel control group study in a large-scale enterprise of the metal-working industry.

Erprobung einer Handgelenksbandage bei Akutbeschwerden

In einem randomisierten, kontrollierten Parallelgruppenversuch wurde in einem Großbetrieb der metallverarbeitenden Industrie überprüft, ob die Anwendung einer neuentwickelten formgestrickten Zweizugbandage bei Handgelenks- und Unterarmbeschwerden Vorteile bietet gegenüber der bisherigen Behandlung mittels antiphlogistischer Salbenauflagen und Kompressions-Stützverbänden (elastische Binden).
