The system consists of a column chassis with a compartment in which 5 electric drives and an electronic control system are arranged. The length of the 5 cables is adjustable and controls the finger movement. This determines the effective range of movement. The operating speed is freely adjustable.
The mobilization of the patient's hand is mechanically transmitted by the 5 cables through the glove, which are like artificial tendons of the patient's fingers.
A Brace Plus Glove (Gloreha Brace + Glove) is placed on the patient's hand to generate the movement of the fingers.
The glove is available in 5 sizes for both the right and left hand. The ends of the glove contain silicon thimbles and provide support in the hand.
If desired, the gloves can be personalized for each patient, thus increasing comfort.
A touchscreen PC with pre-installed software for creating user records.
The patient sees a virtual 3D view of the moving hand. Coloring and acoustic signals increase awareness of the mind-body connection.
