Biofeedback refers to a method that uses technical means to make visible biological body processes and conditions that are not consciously perceived. The devices react to a specific physical or physiological function with audible, visible or tactile signals.
Biofeedback devices can be used, for example, for exercises for targeted breathing by influencing and relaxing the heartbeat. Correction mirrors are also considered biofeedback devices that visually control movement or speech exercises.
