The BIBER arm trainers were developed for the therapy of people whose arm and hand functions as a result of a stroke or other neurological diseases
The different modules of the BIBER arm trainer enable the patient to do repetitive training with the aim of relearning lost arm and hand functions. They are designed so that both bilateral training (the unaffected side moves the affected side) and training of only one arm is possible.
The BIBER arm trainers can be combined to form an arm laboratory with up to eight stations for group therapy or circuit training . The complex functions of the arm and hand are reduced to simple movements.
The BIBER arm trainers can be used in an early rehabilitation phase. Supporting aids are the BIBER-Helparm to relieve the hemiplegic arm, the glove to fix the hand and the balancer to adjust the tensile force.
