Description

Reusable electronic nebulizer for the treatment of the lower respiratory tract using aerosolized medication. The device consists of a control unit and a nebulizer unit for generating the application of the drug aerosols. The vibration of a perforated stainless steel membrane is used to generate the aerosol. The medication liquid is pumped through micro-nozzles, the movement of the membrane generates a constant and reproducible break-off of droplets with a diameter in the micrometer range at the nozzle outlet. According to the manufacturer, the device was designed in particular for the rapid application of medication in mobile use and can be used with any approved medication.

In particular, inhalation solutions and suspensions from the following drug groups can be administered: antibiotics, anticholinergics, non-steroidal cromones, beta2-sympathomimetics, corticosteroids, mucolytics, saline solutions for inhalation.
