The Personal Best® peak flow meter is a handy device for measuring peak exhalation flow (peak flow). Based on a table of standard values, the "width" of the bronchi can be deduced from the measured value. Regular peak flow measurements are essential in the treatment of obstructive airway diseases - especially bronchial asthma. Using the integrated traffic light scheme of the Personal Best® peak flow meter, the dosage of the medication can be optimally adapted to the development of the illness.
