Assistive Product Obstruktionsscreener copd-6

Product Type:

Breath monitor

  • treatment of obstructive airway diseases
  • especially for bronchial asthma

The Vitalograph copd-6 is a digital airway screener that determines the obstruction index and FEV1/FEV6 and thus specifically detects potential obstructive illnesses such as COPD and asthma. For this screening, no time-consuming and therefore costly spirometry examinations need to be carried out in the general practitioner's practice.

Regular peak flow measurements help to detect even small changes in the condition of the lungs, to find the optimal medication setting for the patient, to recognize environmental factors as the cause of bronchial obstruction and to distinguish psychogenic shortness of breath from "real" bronchial constriction.
