In many disease is a risk of Bronchialkollapses - ie the collapse of the bronchial walls during exhalation.. The BA-TUBE trains the breathing technique pursed lip that keeps the airways open during exhalation. The principle is that the patient against an - adjustable - breathing resistance; This creates a positive pressure in the mouth (PEP - Positive Expiratory Pressure), which continues to the bronchial tubes. The bronchial is knitted so accommodating.
