Description:
The FireSafe valves are specially designed for retrofitting oxygen concentrators.
After the supplement of the DIN ISO standard 8359, which came into effect on 01.07.2012, for all oxygen concentrators, the ingress of fire into the device at the oxygen outlet is stopped and the oxygen supply is interrupted when the accessories ignite close to the patient. For all older devices, retrofitting options should be provided by the manufacturer. The retrofit can also be carried out as part of the annual maintenance.
