Simeox is a vibration device for thoracic application, consisting of the device with generator and an exhalation kit (mouthpiece, tube, bacterial filter). The device builds up negative pressure pulses in a short time sequence with one frequency, thus generating vibrations in the lower airways, which allows the secretions to be released, mobilized and transported towards the central airways. The intensity of the negative pressure pulses can be adjusted. The frequency of the exhalations of a therapy cycle can also be set, as well as when a change to a lower vibration frequency occurs during a therapy cycle.
The device must be set by the doctor or physiotherapist.
