The SuitX IX Back Air exoskeleton is designed to relieve strain on the back and is the lightest of its kind, according to the manufacturer. It allows full freedom of movement and improves both posture and endurance. It uses only the body's own energy and works without a battery.

The exoskeleton is a human-machine system that combines human intelligence with mechanical strength by actively and assistively supporting the movements of the person wearing it.
