The prosthetic knee joints are assembled according to two different assembly guidelines. The structure of the knee joints according to these guidelines is absolutely necessary in order to guarantee the optimal functioning of the knee joints and to avoid functional restrictions.

Installation guideline 2: Classic basic structure
The knee joint is built up in the force and assembly reference line, beginning at the greater trochanter (prosthesis shaft) and ending with the course through the middle of the foot, with the knee pivot point shifted backwards. The prosthetic foot is thus traversed in a ratio of 50/50.
