Researchers from the Faculty of Art and Design at Bauhaus University Weihmar have developed a 3D-printed foot orthosis with the medical supply retailer Rosenkranz Scherer GmbH that is tailor-made for people with diabetic foot syndrome and Charcot foot.
The soft outer pads can be replaced at any time
The product was developed as part of the Digital Orthotics project and was awarded gold at the iENA trade fair.
