Contraindications: - Patients with severe osteoarthritis - Patients with thrombophlebitis - Patients with severe spasticity - Patients with neurological changes while wearing the splint:

Also for patients who show neurological or vascular changes while wearing the brace or patients whose mobility is restricted in other ways.

The continuous, adjustable tension releases the muscles from their shortening, as well as nerves and vessels from their scarred adhesions. This automatically increases mobility and promotes blood circulation and tissue regeneration.

To restore complete mobility of the joint, the dynamic Quengel splint must be used over a longer period of time to exert a continuous pull on the shortened muscles that is adapted to the situation.

Precautions:
We strongly advise against wearing the Quengel splint while operating machinery or motor vehicles, during sports or other physical activities.
