Indications:

  • joint contracture as a result of: vegetative state, epilepsy, spina bifida, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, etc.
  • before and after knee replacement - osteoarthritis and chronic polyarthritis - to prevent new contracture after arthrolysis before and after knee replacement
  • osteoarthritis and chronic polyarthritis
  • to prevent renewed contracture after arthrolysis
  • conservative, post-operative for all indications where active flexion of the knee is contraindicated

Description:

The CDS® knee brace Flexion is based on the CDS® principle and is used to treat a flexion deficit of the knee joint. The splint stimulates the growth of the injured structures in the direction of movement and the stretching of the shortened structures through continuous, well-dosed continuous traction. The smoothly adjustable redression range protects against harmful overstretching of the tissue.

  • quick-release fasteners on the upper and lower leg
  • tool-free switching on and off of the redression force without changing the set spring tension
  • sizes L/L, L/M, M/L, M/S: stepless adjustment of the redression range in flexion
  • sizes L/L, L/M, M/L, M/S: exact circumferential adjustment by means of 2-way adjustable Velcro fasteners
  • sizes L/L, L/M, M/L, M/S: - air-permeable, lightweight aluminum shells
  • S/S, XS/XS, XXS with CDS® nano-joint: adjustment of the redression range in 10-degree increments
  • S/S, XS/XS, XXS with CDS® nano-joint: air-permeable, lightweight textile shell elements
  • also available as a children's product in the Junior version
