An increase in intra-articular pressure is achieved via individually positioned pressure pads medial and lateral to the patellar tendon. This provides dosed relief for the meniscus.
The U-shaped friction pad builds up a measured pressure in the area of the upper recess of the knee joint capsule and, during movement, leads to massaging of the end of the capsule, which is prone to swelling.
