Description:

The computer-controlled C-Brace leg orthosis provides greater freedom of movement. The C-Brace consists of individually manufactured thigh, lower leg and foot sections. An ankle joint or an individual spring element connects the foot section with the lower leg section. The sensor system constantly measures knee flexion and knee angle acceleration. The C-Brace thus recognizes which phase of walking the user is in. It can regulate the hydraulic resistance and control the flexion and extension of the knee.
