Personal restraint systems for wheelchairs

Belt systems, seat pants or fixation vests are used for the safe positioning of people in wheelchairs when their own strength is not satisfactory for safe sitting.

For example, chest-shoulder belts or fixation vests can be used to position the upper body in the wheelchair, and seat pants or pelvic belts can be used to position the pelvis in the wheelchair. Various straps and pads also support comfortable and safe sitting in the wheelchair.
