Steering and operating systems for wheelchairs

Electronic wheelchair controls allow a wheelchair to be operated when movement is restricted or strength is not available.

These include joystick controls for one-handed operation and head or chin controls. Wheelchair controls are also available with integrated environmental control systems for operating equipment and devices in the environment from the wheelchair. Push handles and auxiliary devices for wheelchairs can also facilitate wheelchair use.
