The sliding mats reduce frictional resistance during patient movement. They facilitate patient transfer in bed, to the shower stretcher or to the wheelchair.
Depending on the patient's functional picture, the sliding mats in use simultaneously support the chest and pelvis for positioning and turning onto the side.
Other possible applications: Transferring a heavy patient in need of special care from the supine to the prone position when the sliding mat is combined with other assistive products.
