The aid is used when the patient can only get from the sitting position to the vertical position with outside help. Complete verticalization, especially in the case of a seat with lateral access, is not absolutely necessary.
The aid is not suitable for people who are not able to bear weight on their feet for a short time despite grab handles for both hands, support by a traction belt and shin support.
