The wheelchair bike can be used to transport wheelchair users. A seat for the wheelchair user is attached to the front of the bicycle. The person riding in the back has a good view of the road and the wheelchair user from the back. The front part can easily be detached from the bicycle part in the divisible version, so that it can be used as a wheelchair on site.
The seat with adjustable seat depth of the OPair can be adjusted to the height of the wheelchair user. The same applies to the adjustable backrest angle and extendable footrests. Optional side rests are available, making the bike suitable for children or smaller adults. The bike can be completely customized using the various adaptations. It is even possible to add your own seat/seat pan to the bike.
Van Raam has an electric pedal assist system. It consists of the motor, battery and a controller. The smart display and software were developed by the manufacturer specifically for the rehabilitation market.
