Description:
WeWALK is a cane for the blind with obstacle detection and integrated navigation device. It can be used like a conventional cane, which also warns of obstacles above the chest area via vibration. In conjunction with the barrier-free app, which is free for WeWALK owners, the range of functions is increased by many helpful features and enables the user to move anywhere safely, effectively and independently. The app can be operated via the touchpad without having to pick up the cell phone.
The barrier-free app has a navigation function, the ability to call up public transport timetables, for example, to set an exit alarm at the stop and to display and save locations (such as restaurants, stores, doctors' surgeries, supermarkets).
