Description:
The Sunuband is a navigation aid for blind and visually impaired people on the move. It is worn like a wristwatch on the right or left wrist. The sonar sensor should point in the direction of the thumb. By emitting ultrasonic signals, the Sunuband detects obstacles and indicates them by vibration. Obstacles from 1 to 9 meters away can be detected. Obstacles include people, trees, walls, posts and doors.

It is operated using two buttons. Optionally, the Sunuband can also be set and controlled with a smartphone app via the TouchPad.
