Assistive Product Piepsy

Product Type:

Acoustic orientation aid

Areas of Application:

  • Visually impaired
  • Blindness

Description:

The transmitter is small, handy and waterproof. It has a clearly tactile operating button and an eyelet allows it to be attached to a key ring, for example.
The receiver is about the size of a pack of cigarettes and can be placed anywhere you want to find it again. It has a sturdy plastic eyelet for attachment. It also has an ON/OFF switch.
When searching for the location where the switched-on receiver was placed, the button on the transmitter must be pressed and the receiver emits a beep - hence the name Piepsy. As long as the transmitter button is pressed, the beeping becomes continuously louder. Piepsy has a range of approx. 30m.
